The homeowner already had a firepit that he used often. It was just much smaller than the one that he picked out for us to install. He went with the EP Henry Coventry pit kit in “round”. It sure was an upgrade for him when you compare the before and afters.
Kevin and Steve were able to install this one pretty quick. First they did all the basework prepping the area with stone before laying the materials. With pits like these you have the option to either glue it all down or leave it free standing. There are advantages to both options, but if you ever plan to move the pit you would want to make sure you don’t glue it down during install. Some homeowners like the freedom of knowing it could be moved elsewhere if needed down the road.
Once we finished up, we left the homeowner with a fire pit basket as a tiny way of saying thanks. These baskets are something we build for each project. All are different and it’s something each of our customers get at the conclusion of their job.
