We love it when a past customer refers us to someone and we get to then take on their job. That was the case with this install over at Franklin Farms. The homeowner was looking for someone to do a bit of removal of existing hardscape- then build on to expand their outdoor living area. They wanted this patio area to include a wood burning fire feature and be the same elevation as their existing concrete patio.
This is what the job looks like before we begin to dig. We do this with the homeowner to confirm everything is where they want it to be before we kick things off.
We took this project on in the early fall last year although it felt like early spring with the weather. It was time to get started. The machines are in – now we get to work.
We take the base work very seriously. Our goal is to do quality, correct work that lasts for years and years to come. Steve is busy helping to work our magic behind the scenes here. As you can see, we needed to build things up a bit to achieve the correct elevations.
The base work is done and we are ready for pavers now. This project was built out of all Oberfields materials. We thought the homeowner did a great job of picking colors that matched with their existing brick at their home.
The part the homeowners love to watch – this part makes it feel like the job is almost done. It’s always more exciting for them than the dirt part.
This is a view of the raised patio look with steps up to the space, and a wet look after we sprayed the area post construction.
Reed family thanks for having us to take on this project! Enjoy!
